Unfinished estates, mounting housing lists, sewage spilling onto a road and the road infrastructure were but a few concerns raised by councillors at this week’s meeting of Donegal County Council.
A number of councillors who were presented with the capital budget of around €24m at the meeting said they should request to meet with the government to discuss the budget.
Sinn Féin councillor, Marie Therese Gallagher said the budget they were presented with was €10 million less than they had before when all factors were taken into account.
“It’s austerity and government policy and it’s ten million less invested in our county,” she said.
