Undeterred by his recent showing in last week’s polls, MEP Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher has continued his non - stop election campaign and has practically visited all counties in the enlarged constituency in the last week alone.
This afternoon Gallager was joined by former Tánaiste Mary Coughlan, local election candidates Cllr. Brendan Byrne and Micheal Naughton and party supporters.
Speaking to this newspaper Gallagher said, “My main concern is the poll on the 23rd. May and it is my firm intention to be a voice for rural Ireland” when the Parliament resumes.”
