With December now upon us Christmas was very much in the air in many town around the county.
There may not have been any snow or even chilly frost bur early choir singers were out and about as the piped music in the various retail outlets had a very Christmas feel - everything from the Three Tenors to Bing Crosby.
Donegal Town was buzzing with its annual Little Taste of Christmas and retailers around the town were reporting a very satisfactory day’s trading.
The festivities continue over the weekend culminating with Santa’s very first visit to the county tomorrow evening at 6.30 pm. (Sunday) where he is expected to be welcomed by over 3,000 revellers.
