Coast Guard and gardaí are warning the public to avoid exposed coastal areas in the stormy weather.
Met Éireann said Monday will continue cool, blustery and showery, with strong and gusty winds reaching gale force in exposed coastal areas. Some showers will be heavy, with a risk of hail or thunder. A Coast Guard spokesperson urged the public to be careful and to use common sense. “These waves are heavy and they’ll pull you,” he said.
