A talent search is on in Donegal to find an “Annie”- and the Orphans, and even “Sandy” the dog! – for a major new production of this timeless musical to be held in Donegal Town during the Easter break.
Auditions to find the young actress – or maybe two – and her orphan friends, will be held in the St. John Bosco Centre next Sunday, 19th January at 4pm.
“Annie, the Musical” tells the story of little orphan Annie, who resides in the orphanage run by the evil Miss Hannigan, and her adventures during her search to find her family and home, someday - maybe “Tomorrow”
It is nearly thirteen years since Donegal audiences last saw this brilliant family show, performed by the Drama Circle, and this new production will be brought alive to a whole new generation.
With musical director Eileen Carr and producer Art Kavanagh in charge, it promises to be the best local family entertainment for the Easter holiday to look forward to!
So if your daughters, and sons, have always wanted to be on stage, this is their opportunity to show their talents. Children aged upwards of 8 years of age will be accepted, and teenagers and adults are also needed to complete the cast, so if you have been never involved in theatre before, or have always wanted to get involved, opportunity is now knocking!
So, get along to the Bosco Centre on Sunday the 19th January 2014, at 4pm!
