Police have warned the public not to approach a man they wish to speak with in connection with the murder of Barry McCrory yesterday.

Officers have asked the public for assistance in identifying the whereabouts of 58-year-old Kieran McLaughlin.

It is unclear at this stage if he has remained in the North or crossed the border into Donegal.

He is described as being 5ft 7” tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and grey hair. He is believed to be wearing dark coloured clothing.

The public are requested not to approach this person, but are asked to contact police immediately on 0845 600 8000, or local gardai in Donegal, if they think they know of his whereabouts.

Police are also appealing directly to Mr McLaughlin to contact them immediately.
