The CYMS club in Letterkenny has re-opened following a brief closure last month.
The centre re-opened on November 24th following a special meeting of members on November 21st.
The organisation, which has over 100 members, now plans to hold its AGM in February when it will elect a new committee.
Trustee of the organisation in Letterkenny, Eugene Gallagher, said the facility had closed because trustees had received legal advice and advice from its accountants to “take remedial action to avoid any implications in the future and to set it back on track”. “The club has reopened without any major disruption,” he said. Some new committee members were elected at the meeting on November 24th, Mr Gallagher said. “At all times we were acting in the best interests of the club and its members,” he added.
