Donegal could have just two Garda district offices, with Donegal Town also set to be downgraded, the Donegal Democrat has learned.
A veteran county councillor has expressed his deep concern over the future of Garda stations in the county and in particular, the Donegal Town station.
Speaking to the Donegal Democrat, Cllr. Sean McEniff said, “I have received extremely reliable information that the Garda station in Donegal Town, which is currently a 24-hour station, is under review and may be downgraded.”
