A man who was arrested in connection with the murder of Andrew Allen in Donegal in February has been released without charge.
The man, who is in his thirties, was being held at Buncrana Garda Station following his arrest on Sunday. His period of detention was extended on Monday and he was released overnight.
The arrest was the second in connection with the murder which took place near Buncrana.
Earlier this month a man in his fifties was arrested and also released without charge.
Mr. Allen, who was from Derry, died after being shot through the window of his Buncrana home. The murder of the father of two was claimed by Republican Action Against Drugs.
