The tremendous success of the Donegal Traveller’s Project in winning the top prize at the Letterkenny St Patrick’s Day Parade has made the cover of a national magazine.

A photo of two ladies who took part in the parade is the main picture on the cover of this month’s Voice of the Traveller magazine and there’s a full pages, with more photos and a feature article, inside.

The Donegal Traveller’s Project entry for the parade was called Myths and Legends. It featured a carnival dragon, multi-coloured silk flags, salsa drums and bells, and drew a very enthusiastic response from the thousands who attended parade as well as the judging panel.

The project was supported by the Peace II Respecting and Connecting Communities initiative.
