The luxurious Harvey’s Point Hotel which is situated on the edge of Lough Eske received the award for providing the Best Customer Service in the country in 2012 which will not come as a great surprise to the many customers who regularly visit the restaurant.

Harvey’s Point has long been regarded as the jewel in the tourism crown in Donegal and it’s restaurant which literally sits on top of the lake is well known for its superb cuisine, imaginative selection of wines and superb level of personal service.

Deirdre McGlone of Harvey’s Point said, “This award is yet another recognition of the dedicated team effort here in Harvey’s Point - it is a credit to all the staff from the kitchen porter the whole way to the restaurant manager.

“For an hotel to succeed it has to be a bottoms up approach; everybody must feel part of the team and as a result the customer will emerge as the real winner.”
