Less than a week after being named as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies and just days after their successful 10 mile challenge in Bundoran the Cara Pharmacy Group have added another outlet to their growing pharmacy chain.

The well known McGee’s Pharmacy on the Main St. of Kiilybegs which has been run for many years by Pat and Celia McGee was yesterday purchased by Canice and Ramona Nicholas as they continue to build on the group’s portfolio. This recent purchase will bring the total number of outlets in the North West to 12 branches.

Commenting on their recent acquisition, Ramona Nicholas said, “We are delighted to be able to extend our network in Donegal and particularly this new venture in Killybegs.

“Our main objective now is to live up to the wonderful reputation that Pat and Celia McGee have built up over the years and I would like to take this opportunity of wishing them both well in the future - they are a wonderful couple.

“We are now looking forward to bringing the Cara ethos of customer care and putting the customer first to Killybegs and are really looking forward to making many new friends in the town.

“It is early days yet but we would hope to be in a position to create a number of new positions in the town as the business grows.”
