US Professor Janet E. Smith will be the main speaker at two day–long seminars delivering extensive talks on Marriage and Family Life in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny on Thursday 11th and Friday, 12th August.

The conferences were conceived and organised by Letterkenny–based priest Fr. Rory Brady. A distinguished Moral Theologian, Janet Smith’s presentations will be highly valuable for those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Family, Marriage and related issues.

Professor Smith tackles a host of contentious and difficult questions arising from Humanae Vitae. She is a much sought after speaker internationally on Catholic teaching, sexuality and bioethics.

As part of these two seminars a presentation will also be given by Dr. Phil Boyle, Director of Fertility Care in the Galway Clinic. He will give a presentation on the “Ethical Treatment for the Infertile couple”. His presentation combines well with those of Professor Smith where he has given many seminars alongside Professor Smith at conferences relating to ‘family and marriage’.

The seminar on Thursday, 11th August will be for priests; the seminar on Friday, 12th August will be for the laity. (Registration both days 9.30am – start 10am. Fee including coffee/tea: €40 and €20 for students and unemployed. For bookings or more information contact: 07491–21021 or 087–9141606.
