Sudden passing of popular Ballybofey businessman

There was shock and sadness in the Twin Towns area following the sudden death at the weekend of popular local businessman, Enda McCauley.

Deceased, who was the proprietor of Conkers Restaurant on Navenny Street, Ballybofey, passed away after having been taken ill. He was aged 40.

A chef by trade, he, along with his wife, Siobhan, helped build the business up to one of the town's best regarded eating establishments.

His remains were removed from Letterkenny Hospital Mortuary Chapel yesterday to his late residence at Dooish, Ballybofey. They will be taken from there to St. Mary's Church, Stranorlar, tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10.15.a.m. for 11.a.m. Requeim Mass.

The late Mr. McCauley will be laid to rest in Drumboe Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Siobhan (nee Moore), his children, Anna and Eddie, brothers, Paul and Damien, and other relatives and friends to whom sincerest sympathy is extended.
