Burns celebrations at County Museum

Celebrations to mark the anniversary of the Scottish Bard, Robert Burns, will take place in the County Museum in Letterkenny tomorrow.

Donegal County Museum in association with The Ulster Scots Agency are hosting the event to mark ‘Burns Week'. It will give members of the public, especially those who have not had an opportunity to attend an Ulster-Scots event in the past to come along and find out more about Burns. You can enjoy some Ulster-Scots music and dance performances and sample ‘Haggis pies', shortbread, whiskey fudge, tea and coffee.

Burns Suppers have been part of Scottish and Ulster-Scots culture for over 200 years as a means of commemorating the much-loved bard.

The event takes place tomorrow, Friday, January 28th, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.

Admission free and all are welcome.
