One of Donegal’s greatest and most dedicated Manchester Utd. supporter will find an unwelcome surprise this morning as he returns to work after basking in his team’s glory after reaching a 19th. title victory and outstripping their arch rivals, Liverpool.

Denis Gorman one of the best known barbers, a football manager in his own right and a most dedicated supporter of the famous Old Trafford team had his shop suitably decorated and a large poster in his shop front window proclaiming the glory of a 19th. title when he left work on Saturday.

However, victory was not confined to just one Manchester club last weekend as the sky - blue rivals from Eastlands, Manchester City proved that the city was the dominant force in British football having snatched the FA Cup from Stoke in a rather lack lustre final in Wembley.

Commenting on Denis’s blacked out window one neighbouring businessman remarked, “I don’t think Denis will be too worried - he’s probably gearing up for the next encounter with Barca in the Champion’s League and more than delighted with the team’s achievements.

“It was probably a Man. City supporter getting one back but Denis’s attitude will be -’Sure, don’t that crowd win something just once in a Blue Moon!”
