38-year-old's funeral to be held on Friday

The funeral of Daithi White, the 38-year-old father of three who died after an accident outside Ballintra on Monday morning, takes place tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon in Saint Brigid's Church, Collooney.

Mr White was taken to Sligo General Hospital after the two vehicle collision which occurred at around 10 o'clock on Monday morning near the Murvagh turn-off on the N15. He passed away in the intensive care unit on Tuesday. The native of Ballisodare is the first person to die on Donegal's roads this year.

Mr White was the sole occupant of a commercial van which was travelling towards Donegal town.

The occupants of the other car Anthony Molloy, who was a passenger and driver, Paul Murrin from Killybegs - were taken to Sligo General Hospital for treatment. Both are still in hospital.
