Deaths in Donegal, November 30, 2016

Paddy Kelly, Castlefin

The death has occurred of Paddy Kelly, late of 30 Caislean Court, Castlefin and formerly of Dromore, Co. Tyrone.

Remains reposing at his home. House private 11pm to 11am, please.

Removal at 10.30am on Wednesday to St Mary's Church, Castlefin, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Donegal Hospice, c/o 1A Newtown Place, Strabane.


Mary McLoughlin, Carrick

The death has occurred at Harbour Lights Nursing Home, Killybegs of May McLoughlin, late of Clochar, Carrick.

Remains reposing at her home. House private 11pm to 10am, please.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Carrick followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland. 


Mary Finnerty, Galway and Lettermacaward

The death has occurred of Mary Finnerty (nee Macauley) late of Clarke Street, Athenry, Galway and Lettermacaward.

Reposing at Gardner’s Funeral Home, Athenry from 5pm today, Tuesday. Removal at 7pm to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry.

Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by burial afterwards in the New Cemetery.

 

George Donnelly, Ramelton

The death has occurred of George Donnelly late of Newtownfore, Ramelton.

Remains reposing at his home. 

Requiem Mass at 12 noon today, Wednesday, in St. Mary’s Church, Ramelton with burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ramelton.

Anne Vaughan Barton, Rosebeg

The death has occurred of Anne Vaughan Barton (née Hart) late of Eden House, Rosbeg

Funeral at 11am on Thursday, December 1, in St Bridget’s Church, Stillorgan, followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Removal of the ashes on Saturday, December 10 at 11.30am to St Conal’s Church, Portnoo. No flowers, please, donations instead to the RNLI.

 

Jean Parker, The Close, Raphoe

The death has taken place, on Monday at her home, Jean Parker, The Close, Raphoe.

House strictly private, please.

Funeral from there on Thursday, December 1, at 1.30pm for service in Raphoe Presbyterian Church followed by burial afterwards in the family plot.

Mary Clarke, née McGrath, Duleek, Co. Meath and Ballintra

The death has taken place, peacefully on Sunday at Kilbrew Nursing Home in Ashbourne, of Mary Clarke, née McGrath, Station Road, Duleek, and formerly of Shannagh, Ballintra.

Remains reposing at her home.

Removal at 10.30am on Wednesday to St Cianan's Church, Duleek for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Duleek.
 

Michael (Mhici) Gallachoir, Sráthmáirtín, Derrybeg

The death has taken place of Michael (Mhici) Gallachoir, Sráthmáirtín, Derrybeg.

Reposing at his niece Mary-Agnes' house, Srathmairtin, Derrybeg. Rosary at 9pm. House private 11pm to 10am, please.

Removal at 10am on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Chapel, Derrybeg, followed by burial in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Dermot McCormack, Ballintra and Dundrum, Dublin

The death has taken place of Dermot McCormack, formerly of Ballintra and of Dundrum. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief illness at the Blackrock Clinic. 

Reposing in Fanagan's Funeral Home, Dundrum on Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mt. Argus arriving for 11.30 o’clock Mass followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery.

Celine McTaggart, 11 Rosemount, Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Celine Mc Taggart, 11 Rosemount, Kilmacrennan.

Remains reposing at her late residence. House Private, friends and neighbours welcome.

Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral mass in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan at 12 noon on Thursday 1st December followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Frances King, née Greene, Carnamuggagh Lower, Letterkenny

The death has taken place at Archview Lodge Nursing Home, Drumany, Letterkenny of Frances King, née Greene, formerly of Inch Island. 

Frances's remains are reposing at her home, funeral from there on Friday 2nd December going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny for 11.30am Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the family plot in Inch Cemetery.

Family time from 10pm-11am and on the morning of the funeral.

 
Eileen McClean, Killynure, Convoy

The death has taken place, at her home on Monday, of Eileen McClean, Killynure, Convoy.

Remains reposing at her home from 6pm to 11pm. Rosary at 10pm. House private at all other times and Wednesday morning, please.

Removal at 10.30am today, Wednesday to St Mary's Church, Convoy for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in the old cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Donegal Hospice care of Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

The death has taken place of Mervyn Pearson, Ballinacor, Killygordon.

Remains reposing at the home of his nephew Kenneth Bates at Carricknamanna, Killygordon from 8pm tonight.

Removal at 11.30am on Thursday December 1st to St Anne’s Church, Monellan Parish Church for Funeral Service at 12 noon.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St Anne’s Parish Church.

The death has taken place of Connie O’Gara, Garaross, Glencolmcille.

Removal from Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfields, Ardara at 6pm Tuesday to the family home in Garaross, Glencolmcille. House private from 11pm to 10am, please.

Removal on Thursday morning to St. Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille for Funeral Mass 11am, followed by burial  in the adjoining cemetery.

Remains reposing at Fanagan's Funeral Home, Dundrum from 3pm to 6pm on Wednesday.

Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus, for Funeral Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery.
