Donegal death notices, for Thursday evening, October 6th 2016

Martin McDermott, Birmingham and Ramelton

The death has taken place of of Martin McDermott, Birmingham and formerly of Claragh, Ramelton, Donegal.

Removal will take place on Friday evening at 6pm to St. Mary’s Church, Ramelton.

Requiem Mass will take place Saturday at 11am followed by burial in Tully Cemetery.

Owenie McFadden, Newtown, Falcarragh

The death has taken place of Owenie McFadden, Newtown, Falcarragh.

Remains reposing at the home of his daughter Belinda at Ardsbeg, Gortahork.

Removal on Thursday, October 6th, at 6.30pm to St Finnian’s Church, Falcarragh.

Funeral Mass takes place on Friday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

Anne Gallagher, née Cleary, Carrick West, Laghey

The death has taken place, today at University Hospital Sligo, of Anne Gallagher, née Cleary, Carrick West, Laghey.

House private 10pm to 10am, and on Friday morning, please.

Removal at 10.30am on Friday to St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Gertrude McColgan (née Davenport), Muff

The death has occurred of Gertrude McColgan (née Davenport), Garrison, Iskaheen, Muff

Removal from her home at 10.30am on Friday, 7th October, to St Patrick’s Church, Iskaheen for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Hospice Care, Carndonagh Hospital.

Annie Doherty (Jack), Ballyliffen

The death has taken place, at Carndonagh Community Hospital, of Annie Doherty (Jack), Ballyliffen.

Remains reposing at her home. House private 11pm to 10am, please.

Removal at 10.30am on Friday to St Mary's Church, Clonmany for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Carndonagh Community Hospital or St. Colmcille’s Village, Clonmany.

Francis Friel, Kinnegad, Westmeath and Killybegs

The death has taken place of Francis Friel, Kinnegad, Westmeath and formerly of Killybegs.

Remains reposing at the home of his nephew Leo at 75 Emerald Drive, Killybegs.

Removal from there at 6.30pm, Thursday to St Mary's Church, Killybegs.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday, followed by interment in the local cemetery.
