Alys Harte from Letterkenny will present a new BBC documentary that airs tonight, (Monday).
Titled “petrol Bomb and Peace” is take a look at her frontline experience of one of the North most violent summers in recent history.
Alys moved to Belfast four years ago to work for the BBC and found a city with a “split personality”. On the one hand, full of new restaurants, bars and nightclubs where people of all backgrounds mix easily, but on the other a place still deeply affected by old divisions.
‘Petrol Bombs and Peace’ airs tonight on BBC 3 at 9.30pm.
