The Central Hotel in Donegal town, under the general management of Eamonn Gillespie, is gearing itself up for a wonderful summer season, and a sure sign that summer is on the way comes this Tuesday when the hotel’s Slice of Ireland show returns.

“We’re looking forward to a great season and we start this Tuesday with Ireland’s biggest Irish night,” Eamonn told the Democrat.

He said that many people had spoken to him and were eagerly awaiting the return of the show which had been a “phenomenal success last year”.

This magical Irish night, hosted in the grand ballroom, will include haunting ballads, Irish airs from the Piano, Violin, Uileann Pipes, Bagpipes, Whistle, Bodhran and Irish Dance from two of the world’s greatest dancers and to top it all off a wonderful presentation from ‘Agnes and Barney’ from the hills of Donegal.

The show runs for approximately two hours and admission is €12.50.

According to Eamonn it’s a wonderful evening of high quality entertainment and lots of laughs which will ensure all those who attend will go home happy.

The Slice of Ireland show at the Central Hotel in Donegal town will run every Tuesday night from this Tuesday, May 15th to October 23rd.
