Well-known country and Irish singer John Charlie McLaughlin will launch his latest CD in the Station House Hotel in Letterkenny next Wednesday, July 2.
John Charlie, who hails from Stramore, Glendowan, has a new 12 track CD with eight new songs penned by himself.
This marks many years since he made his first recording back in 1971.
John has been a familiar face on the local music scene and has also performed all across the UK, as well as America and Canada. A keen poet also, he learned to play the accordion at a very young age.
He launches his CD at a special night of celebration in the Station House on Wednesday, July 2nd.
There’ll be music by Sinead and Alec Black with guest appearances from Hugh McClean, Ann Biddy and Daniel McAteer along with a host of other artists.
Dancing is from 9-12. Everyone is welcome.
