This year’s panto from Butt Drama Circle, The Wizard of Oz, continues its fun-filled run at The Balor, Ballybofey until December 5.
This enjoyable family romp features all the characters from the original story - which is known and loved by all - along with one or two new additions for good measure.
The show is packed full of music and laughter, and features a huge cast of well known local performers including Ken Lillis as the Dame Auntie Em, Cathal Patton as the Guardian of Oz, Angela Mulreany as The Wicked Witch of the West, Brenda Lucas and Jacinta Cannon as her idiotic henchmen, Brenda Corley as Glinda the Good Witch, Edward Flannagan as The Wizard of Oz, and introducing Roma Foy and Danielle McElroy as Dorothy.
The immensely talented cast also includes Cee Jay Byrne as Billie, Dillon Doherty as the Scarecrow, Thomas Slevin as The Tin Man, Rory Farrell as The Cowardly Lion and Amy Griffin as Toto the Dog.
Will Dorothy find her way home? Will her new companions find their hearts desire? Is Toto really talking? ...And doesn’t Auntie Em look suspiciously like a man in a dress?
You can find out these answers and much more at The Wizard of Oz which continues at the Balor Arts Centre to Friday, December 5.
