Saturday night saw the launch of the 14th edition of the community magazine “The Creeslough View”.

A large crowd attended the function that took place in the Creeslough day Centre on Saturday evening.

Declan Breslin from the Creeslough View Committee welcomed everyone to the launch and paid tribute to all those who helped in this years publication. He also invited anyone who would like to contribute to the publication in the future to get in contact with them.

This year’s magazine is packed with a host of feature articles, news, photographs, humour and poetry from around the locality and areas around the world where people from the Creeslough Diaspora dwell.

Committee member Gerald Duffy said the publication started back in the year 2000 as way of helping celebrate the areas local history as well as document the goings on in the community through each year to give a historical archive for future generation to come.

The book is now on sale in local outlets priced €10.
