A well-known Twin Towns charity shop is set to get a revamp and a new name next month.

The Donegal Charity Shop on Ballybofey’s main street is set to close shortly and will reopen on March 1st as “The Friends of Breast Cancer Research” charity shop.

It will be run by Margaret Wilkie, who has run the Ballybofey based shop for a number of years and she also ran the former Jason Clarke Foundation store in Letterkenny and has been involved in fund-raising for many years.

Margaret says all the proceeds from the new shop, and other events they will organise, will go to breast cancer research.

The shop is still receiving clothes, books, small furniture items and bric-a-brac.
