Ever fancied becoming an Escort to one of the Roses at this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival? Well now could be your chance.

Ever fancied becoming an Escort to one of the Roses at this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival? Well now could be your chance.

Donegal men are being invited to apply and as the 2013 Rose of Tralee, Haley O’Sullivan, says, it’s definitely worth considering.

“I can guarantee all of the men who decide to sign up to become Escorts that they will have the time of their lives,” she said.

“While there are responsibilities that come with being an Escort, they manage to have a pretty great time in Tralee! By the end of the Festival all of the men definitely consider one another as brothers. The friendships made during the Festival are lasting!”

One of the guys will leave Tralee with a prize valued at €5,000 for winning the Newbridge Silveware Escort of the Year.

Lads from all walks of life are being encouraged to download an application form from www.roseoftralee.ie before it’s too late to secure a chance to enjoy being a chaperone to a lovely Rose at the Festival from 15-19 August 2014.

Escorts must be between 21 & 30 years of age before the 1st September and once selected, each prospective Escort must secure sponsorship of €1250.

This year’s selection process will take place in early April. Full details on how to become an Escort and about the Festival itself are available at www.roseoftralee.ie, Twitter @roseoftralee_ and Facebook.
