Former Miss World, Rosanna Davison, has joined the judging panel in this year’s Junk Kouture competition.
The phenomenally popular annual event, now in its fourth year, sees thousands of secondary students creating haute couture ensembles from recycled materials. The competition was co-founded by Elizabeth Curran and Troy Armour, who are both from Buncrana.
Rosanna Davison will bring a touch of glamour and worldly fashion knowledge to the already impressive judging line-up, which includes the much loved stylist and TV presenter Darren Kennedy, Art and Design educator Tracy Fahey and environmental awareness expert Yvonne Holmes.
JK is supported by Bank of Ireland and European Recycling Platform (ERP), the only pan-European compliance scheme for electronic waste and battery recycling.
Last Friday marked the opening of online registration for the talented students across the North and South of Ireland who are hoping to be a part of Junk Kouture 2014.
The deadline for entries is Friday, February 7.
