If you’re looking for a way to brighten up your evening, then Ardara’s the place to be!
Ardara Drama Group, who have presented great entertainment every year since 1996, are taking to the stage with Sam Cree’s comedy hit, Don’t Tell the Wife.
The show will be performed in the Methodist Hall, Ardara Thursday, March 6 to Saturday, March 8 and on Saturday, March 15 at .
Follow the antics of Mrs Edna Willis (played by Margaret Porter), who is convinced that her husband, a plumber called Bobby (Joseph Dunleavy) is chasing other women.
The hilarity is fuelled by a cast full of colourful characters, twisted plots and nosy neighbours.
Bríd Cunningham plays neighbour Isobel, Samuel Young takes on the rolse of Bobby’s apprentice Cyril, Hanna Dunleavy is the French lodger who takes a fancy to Bobby and Andrew Dunleavy, as a Corporation official, causes even more confusion.
Then there’s Cyril’s hives-prone girlfriend Hilda played by Shirley Morris and Desmond Young as Basil, who is Edna’s escort for a supposed night out but, unknown to Edna ,Bobbie and Basil are old buddies. Throw in a greyhound called Bridget and absolute mayhem ensues.
Proceeds from the show will go to support Donegal Hospice and the Alzheimer Society.
Admission is €10 for adults, €5 for children and supper is included.
