Poetry and Power and the Diaspora will be the theme explored by Professor Paul Arthur in this year’s Tip O’Neill Diaspora Lecture. The talk will be delivered this Saturday, September 21 at 11am in the Inishowen Gateway Hotel as part of the Second Tip O’Neill Irish Diaspora Awards weekend.

Dr. Paul Arthur is Course Director of the Graduate Program in Peace and Conflict Studies and Professor of Politics at the University of Ulster. He played a significant role in bringing political adversaries together and is highly respected in Ireland, the UK and North America. His media contributions during the Troubles and the peace process are well respected for their informed even-handedness.
