Special guest Niall Hatch of BirdWatch Ireland makes a welcome return to Laghey next Monday, November 18 at 7.30pm.

He’ll be hosting the The Wild Bird Care Event at the Robert Kee Garden Centre.

This is their third free event dedicated to the wildlife surrounding us.

Niall Hatch is the development Officer with BirdWatch Ireland. He is featured regularly on the Mooney Show on RTE Radio One and the Morning Show on TV3 discussing birds, wildlife and conservation issues. He is one of the most respected authorities in the conservation scope.

Bird Watch Ireland is the largest conservation organisation in Ireland. Their work is focused on the researching and monitoring of wild birds and their habitats and on promoting birds and biodiversity among the wider public.

The event starts at 7.30pm when Niall Hatch will be inspiring the attendants with his informative talk on birds that visit our gardens daily, the best feeding practices and how to encourage a diverse range of birds to nest there and raise their young. The event is open to everyone – whether you are an expert birdwatcher or a novice or you’re just curious what all the fuss is about.

You can avail of some great offers on wild bird care products from Robert Kee Garden Centre.
