The first ever Letterkenny One Act Drama Festival opens at An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny this Thursday, November 21 and continues through to Saturday.

This 3-day festival is an exciting opportunity for drama enthusiasts in the town to see nine one-act plays performed by groups from all over Ireland.

The festival will be adjudicated by Larry McCluskey, who is well-known for his expertise in adjudicating in drama circles throughout Ireland.

The committee chose a local artist/sculptor Miguel Doyle to design the trophies for the awards.

Over the last months, a group of local people have been working hard to bring this festival to Letterkenny. The committee has been delighted by the tremendous amount of support the festival has received both locally and nationally. The committee are especially grateful to our festival partner Pramerica and to Letterkenny Town Council for their support.
