Errigal Eagles Tag Rugby Club Host Come & Try Event

Donegal Sports Partnership, Finn Valley Rugby Club and The Ulster Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union are joining forces to kick-start an exciting initiative in Donegal which encourages the participation of people with an intellectual disability in Tag Rugby.

Donegal Sports Partnership, Finn Valley Rugby Club and The Ulster Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union are joining forces to kick-start an exciting initiative in Donegal which encourages the participation of people with an intellectual disability in Tag Rugby.

Tag Rugby is a non-contact sport that is an enjoyable, fun and active way, to keep both healthy and fit. It can be played by men, women and children of all ages and all abilities

Errigal Eagles is open to people with an intellectual disability providing them with the opportunity to participate at a level which they enjoy. Finn Valley Rugby Club will host a Come & Try Event at Millbrae, Stranorlar on Sunday the 6th of October from 10am- 12pm. Staff from the Ulster Branch and Donegal Sports Partnership will be in attendance to support the session which is FREE and open to those of any age with an intellectual disability.

It is hoped pending interest and support from clubs, coaches, parents and volunteers that more regular sessions will be organised to accommodate anyone interested in participating on an on-going basis.
