Aladdin was portrayed as a cheeky street rat, who is told by Abenazar of the Magreb to gain access to great cave of the East and get the greatest treasure known to man, the Genii, so that he gain the power to the country. The Genii lives in a lamp and can do anything for the holder of the lamp. The audience members were on the edge of their seats as Aladdin desperately tried to find the lamp, and keep it in safe hands. The show gave us plenty of twists and turns, and some fabulous acting kept everyone entertained, and deservedly earned themselves a standing ovation.
