Drimarone Frosses Players present their production of Sam Cree’s hilarious hit comedy, ‘Don’t Tell the Wife’ this Wednesday to Sunday at the Bluestack Centre, Drimarone.

The 3 act comedy is set in Belfast in the Willis household. Edna Willis (Geraldine Thomas), wife of Bobbie Willis (Michael Campbell), is convinced that her husband is interested in another woman.

He isn’t... but he does have some secrets that he is keeping from his wife. Edna’s attempts to stop her husband from going astray lead to misunderstandings with a French student (Mary Rose Gallagher), a male escort (Cathal Moohan) and, not to mention, a greyhound called Bridget! Bobbie’s apprentice plumber (Sean Gallagher) looks for advice from all the wrong places while his naïve girlfriend (Mary Clancy) is bewildered by it all. The Corporation Man (Michael Jim Kenny) manages to complicate things even more! while the nosiest of neighbours (Irene Meehan) just adds to the chaos. The show opens on Wednesday night (March 27) and continues throught to Easter Sunday night, with performance at 8.30pm, except for Holy Thursday, when the play will start at the later time 9pm. Tickets, priced at €10 per adult and €5 per student, are available at the door.
