Very rarely will you come across up on 40 members of An Garda Siochana getting a standing ovation in any one room in rural Ireland but that indeed was the case and deservedly so in a south Donegal town last weekend,

Pat Kenny brought along his charges from the Garda Band to that friendly town of Ardara for what was a thoroughly entertaining evening in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel on Friday night.

The Garda Band were joined by the Glenties singer/songwriter Riaghan O’Callaghan and the Donegal Tenors who need no introduction to our readers.
