Road safety awareness week at Letterkenny Shopping Centre

Letterkenny Shopping Centre held its Road Safety Awareness week in the centre last week where they promoted the importance of safe driving.

As Road Safety is such an important issue, Letterkenny Shopping Centre felt that this was a great way to provide their valued customers with information and safety tips.

Eugene Donnelly, was the guest of honour and launched the event on Wednesday 6th June where the shopping centre also hosted the Road Safety Authority Roll Over Car which showed customers what can happen when a car comes off the road.

Eugene Donnelly also challenged customers to a Pit Stop Challenge over the weekend with retailers from Letterkenny Shopping Centre taking part in the challenge. Also available was information on tyre safety, the importance of wearing a seatbelt and much more.

Brian McCracken, Manager of Letterkenny Shopping Centre, commented: “We were delighted to be able to run the Road Safety Awareness campaign again in Letterkenny Shopping Centre, we are pleased that we can show our appreciation for our customers by offering information and advice that is of real value to customers. Eugene Donnelly is a great ambassador for road safety and we were honoured to have him representing Letterkenny Shopping Centre throughout the campaign. We would also like to thank D.M.G Motors from Donegal Town for their support in this campaign.”
