Locally made film hits the web
Donegal film producer/director, Gerard Lough’s latest short film, Ninety Seconds, has gone on-line.
The film was shot on location in Letterkenny and has already been screened in Dublin to critical acclaim.
The film features a cynical surveillance expert who takes on an unusual assignment that will lead
him into a downward spiral of paranoia and obsession. His job is to follow and record every movement of a young dancer. But soon both he and his new assistant - hacker Ralfi - discover there is something strange about this assignment and they quickly find themselves in the middle of a mystery that may well bring about their downfall.
Letterkenny locations used include Century Cinemas, St. Eunan’s Cathedral car park, Gallagher’s Hotel and what used to be Chartbusters on Pearse Road.
Last year Gerard Lough won the award for Most Exciting Breakthrough in the directing category by Horror Cult Films for ‘The Boogeyman’, a 27-minute film adaptation of a short story by Stephen King.
He has also directed several music videos for independent artists in America and Ireland.
