There’s something for everyone - including live entertainment from J90, Nathan Carter, the Ultimate Rihanna Tribute Band and Mojo Gogo. Plus lots more events and fun for all the family!

The programme for Friday starts with the Kids’ Fancy Dress Competition at 6pm. This event, which departs from the Diamond, is sponsored by Mohan’s Funfair. Then, at 8pm in the Diamond, it’s the Opening of the Festival by the newly crowned Queen of the Fleet, Shannon Gorman, followed by great music from Mojo Gogo at 9pm.

Saturday is filled with fun activities, starting with the Bonny Baby Competition, at 11am in Foresters’ Hall, sponsored by Cara Pharmacy. Then it’s the always popular Pet Show at 12 noon at the Diamond, sponsored by Killybegs Travel. Test your mettle in one of the Sports Day competitions, from 2pm at Emerald Park, sponsored by Fionnuala and John Cunningham or the Strong Man Competition, 4-7pm, sponsored by KER. To enter contact Hugh Kelly, tel. 087 7386847.

Relax after all that with the BBQ at the Diamond followed by music from The Ultimate Rihanna Tribute Band at 9pm.

Sunday kicks off with the Rowing Regatta at 12 noon, sponsored by Mooney Boats. Then it’s time to “rock like a wagon wheel”, admission free, to music from the immensely popular Nathan Carter a 4pm in the Diamond, followed by J90 at 8pm.

The Festival rounds off with the announcement of the New Mayor at 11pm in Hughies. This year’s candidates are: Mairead Gallagher, Brian ‘Bubs’ McCabe and Shane McCrudden
