Dancing at Lughnasa in Glenties

Glenties Drama Group are in full swing with rehearsals for their upcoming production of Brian Friel’s Dancing at Lughnasa in Glenties Community Centre on March 2nd,3rd, and 4th.

Having secured permission from the playwright Brian Friel to present this iconic piece locally, the local group have met the challenge of presenting one of Friel’s masterpieces with gusto.

Of course there is great local interest in the play as it reflects Friel’s memories of his childhood visits to his aunts in Glenties.

So make it a date for your diary and come and enjoy an evening of live theatre.
