A large crowd turned out last Tuesday night for the official launch of “The Big Fight Night - 3” at Letterkenny’s Clanree Hotel.

The launch event included organisers, sponsors, trainers, and plenty of people eager to don the gloves and step into the ring themselves.

“Light” training commences on Tuesday, September 11th at 6.30pm at Letterkenny Boxing Club.

The committee say they have been informed that following the light training will swiftly be followed by some “real work” so those involved should be prepared.

They could discover the new Katie Taylor or Paddy Barnes as they work towards raising money for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin.

Tickets go on sale a month before the event will take place.

Profiles of this year’s boxers arecoming soon and to keep up to date when it takes place you can find them on Facebook, look for “The Big Fight Night 3”
