Bell X1 For The Balor

Fresh from performing to a rammed tent at the Electric Picnic, Bell X1 have announced details of their forthcoming Irish acoustic tour including a date at The Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey.

One of the most consistently successful and acclaimed Irish acts of the last decade, this will be Bell X1’s 3rd visit to The Balor having played sold-out shows there in 2008 and 2010. With it’s acoustics and intimate auditorium the band consider the Balor the perfect venue for their acoustic gigs.

Typically the gig features old favourites from their back catalogue as well as allowing the band to test drive new material. Recordings from their 2010 acoustic tour featuring tracks from all 5 studio albums – Neither Am I, Music In Mouth, Flock, Blue Lights On The Runway and Bloodless Coup – was released as an album Field Recordings in July of this year.

Bell X1 cap off an impressive line-up of original music in the coming months at The Balor. They join Relish(Sep 15th), Scullion(Sep 29th), Declan Sinnott(Oct 20th) and Damien Dempsey(Nov 17th) amongst others all scheduled to appear at The Ballybofey venue.

Bell X1 play The Balor on Friday November 23rd. Tickets go on sale this Friday priced €27 and are available from The Balor Box Office on 0749131840 or online at www.balorartscentre.com
