Over three hundred people turned out for the recent launch of Báidín Fheidhlimidh, a new book and double CD of songs and poems for children.

The Knockalla Suite in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, was packed to capacity as well known chef and singer, Brian Danny Minnie Ó Domhnaill, launched the new collection of traditional songs and poems.

Following the official launch, the young children who took part in the recordings performed the songs and poems that can be heard on the albums.

Dara McGee and Deirdre Brennan created the artwork for the book and Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde arranged and recorded the music.

The book and CD are now available in Siopa Thomáis, Teach Mhatt and in all book shops that stock Irish language books nationwide, or you can contact Ionad Oideachais Ghort an Choirce at inmr@eircom.net
