The Butt Drama Circle are delighted to present their latest production, Deadwood Dick, a show that will transport the audience back to the Wild West through lots of drama, song, romance and fun!

With a huge cast of around 26 “more or less, less or more” to quote Judge Nix, Deadwood Dick involves lots of famous names including Wild Bill Hickock and Calamity Jane,

Of course there will be many familiar faces with Paddy McMenamin in romantic mood again, and getting it wrong again! He’s joined by Sean Byrne, Ken Lillis, Kathleen Brown, Brenda Lucas as the tantalising La Paloma, Kathleen McGowan, Aoife Boyce and with her new husband Eddie Flanagan, Brian Duffy, Gordon Lucas, John Dory (Duffy) who plays Pong Ping the Chinaman, Laura Friel, Seamus McCrudden, Mary Laverty, Mary Sweeney, Anita Shovlin and many more - agreat cast for comedy!

The play centres around the evil villain Black’n Red and the attempts of our two heroes to thwart him. No melodrama would be complete without the ladies in distress and there are two of them!

On top of all that, there’s kidnapping and secret escapes, gunfights and lynching!

It’s all happening at the Balor, Deadwood Gulch, March 1-4. It’s a family affair so bring the kids, as it’s on at the weekend. But remember you will have to boo, hiss, cheer and most importantly – laugh!!
