She was waked at her home in Brinaleck, the very large and representative attendance at the wake and funeral clearly indicated the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Donnchadh Ó Baoill, C.C., Cnoc Fola and concelebrants were, Fr. Michael Sweeney, P.P., Gaoth Dobhair and Fr. Seán Ó Gallchóir, P.P., Gortahork. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Grace Ann McFadden, (niece), Máire, Nóra, Irene and Doreen McFadden, (nieces in law). The soloists were, Majella and Lisa McFadden. Following the mass she was laid to rest in Cnoc Fola cemetery.
