The weather had an effect on the sporting world in Donegal at the weekend with some games off because of frozen pitches.
One of the high profile casualties was St. Eunan's U-16 Ulster final game in the Paul McGirr Tournament in Dromore.
There were also games called off in the soccer world.
The Donegal League bowed out of the Oscar Traynor Cup with defeat to Inishowen League in Buncrana on Saturday night. In the local leagues Division One leaders Donegal Town had to settle for a draw against Raphoe, while the Ulster Senior League sides were defeated in the Intermediate Cup.
In Community Games there was plenty of success at the Volunteer and Media Awards which were presented in Salthill, Galway on Saturday night.
In GAA, the big news was the re-appointment of Martin McHugh as manager of Kilcar for 2017 when he will be hoping to go one step further in the championship.
Three Donegal players were on the All-Star trip to Abu Dhabi and Glenswilly pair Neil Gallagher and Michael Murphy were in scoring form for the 2015 All-Stars side, who went down to the 2016 All-Stars (which included Ryan McHugh) in a high scoring encounter.
There were plenty of underage presentations in GAA and Tir Chonaill AC also held their presentation night.
