We visited lifford tote on a work night out the service was the worst I have seen in a long time. We were greeted by a rude manageress who didn’t seem to have much time for us she spent more time using her highlighter on the page to colour in that we had arrived. We were squashed into an area that was clearly too small for the number of people there. No member of staff approached us until I had to approach the manager again to ask why. When the staff did come they got 3 drinks orders wrong which we then were forced to drink and pay for- only for fear that they would more than likely get it wrong again. When they finally got around to taking our dinner order we had finished our main before the side orders came near us. The main course had clearly been under a heat lamp due to the visible skin on the sauce. Dessert then came about an hour later. The only staff that were attentive were the ones taking money for bets naturally enough. Will definitely not be back. Poor service and poor food. If the manager wants to colour in so much I suggest she goes back to school and gives someone with a little more manners the job.

We recently spent the evening/night at the stadium.The waiting staff were good, not great but that might have alot to do with the manageress of the place. She was extremely rude to a couple of people in my group when they requested a change in their order.. She left them extremely angry and dissatisfied with the quality of service. The food was just ok, not great. The tote betting staff were wonderful, a nice change from the poor food-service staff!
Overall, it was an average night, we enjoyed the racing more than anything but very disappointed with the manageress!
We were a large group (25 people) so they definitely made their money from us that night!
