The Minor Board are hosting an Easter GAA camp on the 29th 30th and 31st March from Ages 6 to 13. The days will run from 10:00am to 2.oopm and will cost €20 and €10 for each subsequent child. We will be catering for all aspects of our organisation over the 3 days.

Our Senior Hurlers got their Ulster Hurling League under way on Sunday last with a comprehensive win over Eoghan Rua's Coleraine. They face an away trip to Antrim on Saturday.
NA ROSSA: The reserves played Downings at the weekend in the Gaeltacht Championship in Dooey. First game of the season for the reserves proved a tough one as the visitors won through to the next round.
The seniors had a good victory against Letterkenny Gaels in a friendly at the weekend which was played in Dooey.
Representatives from Croke Park will give a presentation on this years Go Games tournament in Jacksons hotel this Thursday 11th starting at 8pm.Its important that all under age coaches attend this meeting.
ST. MICHAEL'S: The first day of the Parish League took place last Sunday, and it was good to see such a large turn out and alot of new faces, keep it up. The results for week 1 are. The seniors were also winners last weekend in Comortas peile na Gaeltachta, they travelled to Baille Na nGalloglach and won by seven points 2-9 to 0-8 they now face either Gaoth Dobhair or An Clochan Liath, the reserves were also winners in the Gaeltachta last weekend when they overcame Naomh Columba by four points 0-10 to 0-6, they now will meet Gleann tSuille.
There will be a senior/bord na nOg meeting next Tuesday in the Sports Centre at 8pm.

St. Bridget's National School, Convoy, St. Eunan's National School Raphoe, Convoy Joint National School Raphoe Central National School, Glenmaquin National School and St. Patrick's National School, Drumkeen were the six schools form the parish participated in the very successful schools day at the St. Mary's pitch in Convoy on Thursday 4th March. Boys and girls form 3rd and 4th classes form the schools took part in three short games using the Go Game blitz format. It was a great opportunity for them to learn new skills, develop friendships and have fun. Paul Callaghan Regional Games Development officer was also in attendance and commended the club on such an initiative stating that it was a great opportunity to develop and foster cross community links. Mick Murphy and Kieran Molloy were also present and refereed a few games. He again praised Conor and the club for the time and effort they put in to organising the event which was a very enjoyable and successful morning. This is the third schools day that the club have organised and they hope to run another in the near future. Thanks has to go to Conor McDermott for his efforts in organising the day.

AODH RUADH: Aodh Ruadh played host to East Tyrone side, Galbally in Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh last Saturday. The Ernesiders had a good first half and went in on top at half time. Galbally took the honours in the second half in what was a match played in good, friendly spirit.
The reserves hosted Four Masters for a challenge in Fr Tierney Park on early Sunday afternoon. There was a good display from a very young side which was augmented by a few Donegal town lads. Despite the lack of numbers Aodh Ruadh were only shaded by a point at the final whistle.
The under 16s are the first underage team out in competitive action for 2010. They take on Dungloe in the first round of the league in Fr Tierney Park at 12 noon on Sunday, 14th March.
The under 14s are taking part in a tournament co-hosted by Erne Gaels and Devenish this Saturday 13th March. Aodh Ruadh will be based in Garrison for the group stages where they will be in a group with the hosts, Garrison, Belcoo and Naomh Bríd. The first game throws in at 10am. The bus will leave park at 9.15am.
Thomas Schillachi Gallagher's charges got their season off to an ideal start when they comprehensively defeated Fermanagh side, Knock Grattan's, 5-19 to 0-2 in the first round of games in Group 5A of the Ulster Hurling League. Next up for the seniors is a trip to take on Glencar / Manorhamilton on Saturday 13th April at 4.30pm.
Sunday morning last saw the start of underage hurling training for 2010. Over 70 young hurlers descended on Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh, all keen to learn new skills. Training continues this Sunday at 12 noon for under 8s to under 16. We also had nine under 12 hurlers taking part in the all-county trials in Letterkenny where they all did very well. There will be further trials this Sunday and details will be passed on to lads during the week.
The fourth annual Hurlathon takes place on Saturday 27th March. Hurlers are out and about with their sponsor cards so please support this unique fund raiser!

The U-14 hurling league starts in two weeks. Four U-10 hurling teams competed in the Ulster Indoor Blitz in Magherafelt on Saturday. The last North West indoor blitz takes place on Sat next in the LYIT. Two U-10 camogie teams competed in the Donegal Camogie Blitz held in Burnfoot on Saturday. The next Camogie match is an U-12 match to be held on Saturday.

NAOMH PADRAIG, LIFFORD: The senior men's team travelled on a beautiful Saturday evening to play Buncrana in a pre-season challenge game. Lifford's men ran out eventual winner on a score line of 2-7 to 0-6.

The Din Friel Memorial Competition will take place on Saturday, March 13, in Tri a Loch from 11.30am to 4pm. This is a seven-a-side Gaelic football competition which involves teams representing their particular area challenging for the Memorial Cup. Last year was a great success and we are hopeful that this year will be as good.

There was a club meeting held on Febuary 23 in the Holyrood and attendance was poor so please keep an eye out for details of future meetings. AN TEARMAINN: Hard luck to Paddy McDaid and Michael Boyle who were part of the
Donegal panel against Kildare. Miicheal played his first game for Donegal this year after his busy couple of weeks with DCU. Michael played the full 60 minutes in goals.

Hard luck to the Termon lads who were on the St Eunan's College U-14 Loch an Iuir cup Ulster final team. The team lost the final to a strong St Malachy's Belfast with a final score 1-10 to 1-09.
Daire McDaid played a prominent part, wearing No 10 scoring two points from play. The club were also represented by Joe Gallagher and Conor Tinney who were on the panel.

NAOMH BRID: There will be an executive meeting on Friday, March 19, at 9pm in the clubhouse. It is essential that all executive members attend this meeting in particular as the field development and other important issues are to be discussed.

The senior team won against Ballerin (Derry) last Saturday in the Ulster League. They are through to the semi final. The fixture has not been confirmed as yet.

Cluichí na deireadh seachtaine: both the senior and reserve teams started the season with Gaeltacht games at the weekend. The seniors got off to a good start at home on Saturday, with a hard-fought win over Fanad Gaels – final score NC 0.10 FG 1.05. They now await the tie between Ard a Rátha and Naomh Náille, and meet the winners. The reserves unfortunately went down to Glenfin on Sunday afternoon.
