Emmet Buchanan from Muff was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Property Studies at the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI) and Dublin Institute of Technology property conferring ceremony at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin on Saturday 20th February.
The Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute (IAVI) in partnership with the Dublin Institute of Technology offer part-time Honours Degree and Higher Certificate courses in Property Studies.

According to Dr Paul Kelly, Academic Director of the IAVI “The cyclical nature of the property market means that students entering property courses now are likely to graduate in 2013/2014 into a market which is much different to today’s. There will undoubtedly be new opportunities for the educated professional both at home and overseas. Those interested in the a career in the property sector should carefully consider the IAVI/DIT Degree and Higher Certificate courses as will as those available through the CAO system.

Details of IAVI-accredited courses and career options, as well as a short video profiling recent graduates from IAVI accredited property degrees, are available on http://www.iavi.ie/PropertyCareer.aspx or by calling 01-661 1794.
