"Darby O'Gill and the Little People" will be screened at the Balor Arts Centre this weekend in a special fundraiser for St. Joseph's Day Hospital in Stranorlar.
The film will be screened at 3 pm on Sunday, March 14, on Mother's Day at the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey. Admission is 5 euro.

This is one in a series of charity screenings in a cinema setting that the Balor has hosted in recent months. The John Wayne classic "The Quiet Man" was shown last month.

John Walsh, one of the series organisers, said the series has been going very well. "Hopefully this one will do well, too," he said. He said organisers hope to screen "The Song of Bernadette" in April and another classic film in May. Each classic screening has been organised to raise money for a local charity.
