Donegal walkers have raised €20,000 for breast cancer support services.

Right across the county, people took part in Centra Pink Umbrella Walks last October.

There were nine walks in Donegal - organised by Centra stores in Ardara, Ballyshannon, Carrigart, Clonmany, Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh, Kilcar, Mountain Top, Letterkenny and Moville. Centra Moville also held a vintage tractor run, quizzes and a walkathon.

A total of €20,087 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society’s Get the Girls/Action Breast Cancer programme.
